Results depend on inputs and conventions

Check the input dates, times, reference date and settings before using a result. Calendar days differ from working days, inclusive date ranges differ from advancing a date, and a partial day may be handled differently from a full one. Tools can have different rounding and start-day conventions, which their guidance explains. The Age Calculator uses a February 28 anniversary for a February 29 birth date in a non-leap year; this planning convention is not a universal legal age rule.

Browser date handling and selected IANA time zones can affect displayed times. A local time may not exist during a forward daylight-saving change or may occur twice during a backward change. Verify the intended offset for an ambiguous local time, and include the local date when sharing a converted time. A displayed annual transition or UTC offset is not a promise of an official future timezone rule.

Holiday and workplace coverage

Public-holiday dates, substitute dates and observance rules vary by country, state or province, year and workplace. A selected national calendar may not cover every regional closure, half-day, school holiday or employer policy. A tool without a holiday selector remains weekend-only unless its guidance states otherwise. Future announcements, movable holidays and emergency changes may not yet be represented. The linked official source, employer policy or signed agreement should be checked for important decisions.

Accuracy, source links and corrections

We use source references, worked examples and regression tests to improve the website, but cannot guarantee that every calculation or article is complete, current or free from error. A verification date describes the recorded review, not a guarantee that no authority has since changed its announcement. External source links can move or become unavailable.
